Located on Queens Boulevard, right across from the 7 train and a short ride from Times Square, we are game central year-round for all your favorite sports. Soccer, rugby, football, basketball, hockey, baseball, international tournaments – if you’re looking for it, chances are we’re showing it on our 9 flatscreen TVs, all hooked up to every premium sports viewing package, including NFL Ticket, NBA League Pass, and MLB Extra Innings.
Planning a party? Reserve our covered patio area! We’ll provide the grill, tables, chairs, darts, set-up, and clean-up. You bring the meat (the famous Butcher Block is a short walk away) and handle the grilling, and we will supply the beer.
As the unofficial tailgate headquarters for Citi Field, game days are extra special at The Courtyard. Bring your Mets game ticket stub before and or after the game, and your second beer is on us!
The Courtyard Ale House is convenient by cab or train from Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Nassau County. Across the street from the 40th St. – Lowery St. Station on the 7 train, we are 15 minutes from Grand Central Station and a few minutes from Courthouse Square, where you can switch from the E, G and M trains to the 7 (headed towards Flushing). You can also easily get to us from the LIRR’s Woodside Station (just 3 stops on the 7 train, headed towards Manhattan). Heck, we’re probably easier to get to than many of your favorite Manhattan bars!
We are also a proud member of Sunnyside’s Boulevard Bars, a collective of 11 bars and restaurants in and around Queens Boulevard. Dedicated to our neighborhood and customers, our mission is to elevate our community by utilizing our joint efforts to organize monthly events that bring people together, give back to organizations in the community, and keep locals and visitors alike up-to-date about what’s happening in Sunnyside. To date, we have raised more than $23,000 for groups like the Sunnyside-Woodside Boys & Girls Club, the 51st Street Fire Station (Engine 325-Ladder 163), local churches, and holiday toy drives.
