Poggio Torselli Chianti Classico

Chianti Classico Poggio Torselli is obtained from Sangiovese grapes with the use of cuts of other grape varieties to best bring out the characteristics of each single vintage. After 5 days of cryo-maceration and alcoholic fermentations, the masses are left to macerate on the skins for a further 10/15 days. The wine is subsequently aged for 12 months in exhausted French oak barriques and tonneaux to limit the supply of exogenous tannins, but only in order to enhance the original characteristics of the grapes. Once bottled, Chianti Classico Poggio Torselli ages for at least 3 months in the bottle before being marketed.

Bright ruby, with notes of licorice and orange peel, the marked acidity gives freshness and is in perfect balance with the elegance and pleasantness of the tannins.
